The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has successfully deployed its eAcquisitions Tool solution built on Distributed Solutions, Inc.'s (DSI) knowledge-enabled AEON platform.

The USPTO solution enables the creation of integrated acquisition teams and best practices by providing a unified process manager to drive progress, next steps, and status.

The solution implements new governance standards and improved business processes while integrating with existing finance and procurement systems. This deployment marks a milestone in transforming the way USPTO is able to leverage real-time acquisition status, provide complete process visibility, and facilitate data-driven managerial decision making.

"We are extremely proud to be a partner in USPTO's efforts to transform their acquisition management process," said Daniel E. Carr, DSI's CEO.  "DSI is working collaboratively with senior USPTO staff to iteratively implement transformative business processes while leveraging existing enterprise architecture investments."
