Desk-side Support
Desk-side support involves DSI product experts directly assisting
end users as they perform their work using DSI's products.
Desk-side support is a key component to full user adoption in that
it increases users' understanding of product functionality in a
familiar setting. Often, desk-side support bridges the gap between formal
training and independent use of the system. DSI desk-side support
personnel will provide product guidance, promote client-specific
business processes/policies/standards, work with the DSI help desk
to resolve product issues, perform on-site troubleshooting, provide
feedback for custom and standard documentation, etc. Desk-side
support personnel will generate weekly status reports to describe
user issues experienced and resolution steps taken. |
