ProDoc Product LogoSmart Document Generation for a Professional Acquisition Workforce

ProDoc is the AAMS component that automates document generation. Supporting over 60 forms and document types ‘out-of-the-box’, ProDoc is readily customizable to include agency supplements, local policy guidance and clause deviations. ProDoc consistently produces documents with greater accuracy and currency than our competition, and is the smart document generation toolset for today’s acquisition professional.

Knowledge Enabled

A shrinking federal acquisition workforce is mandating the rapid addition of new personnel and the cross-training of existing staff to address an increasingly complex acquisition process. Knowledge transfer is essential, particularly in the area of regulatory compliance in written solicitations and award documents. DSI's ProDoc is designed to serve as a mentor, guiding new and existing staff through the creation of simple and complex instruments using a knowledge base containing over a decade of evolved acquisition expertise. The product interactively interviews users for information about their acquisition event and guides them in the creation of appropriate document types and corresponding content (clauses, etc.) giving users important insight in unfamiliar circumstances.

Comprehensive

ProDoc supports the most commonly used documents and forms in the acquisition process. Our knowledge base contains thousands of decision points and suggested content rules and offers a complete interpretation of current procurement and grants policy as well as all necessary clause text. Additionally, ProDoc can be configured to support agency supplements and local policies governing issues such as agency specific acquisition planning documents, statement of work development and complex construction or hybrid contracts.

Compliant

ProDoc guarantees that generated documents start from a baseline compliant with the best acquisition practices and interpretations. The AAMS knowledge-base contains clauses, prescriptions, documents, forms, policy interpretation and other data that is continually updated under regulatory subscriptions offered by DSI. Local document types are also automatically updated to conform to the latest regulations and local policy. Updates propagate across an organization, ensuring the currency necessary to facilitate both a culture of compliance and adherence to policy directives.

Consistent

ProDoc encourages consistent policy application across an entire organization, regardless of geography or structure. ProDoc presents a consistent format and content for any document and then allows the modification of the document as necessary. Content changes are easy to make and are tracked in detail, so reviewers are instantly aware of any deviations from suggested content or format. This dramatically reduces the amount of management and legal review required for documents and encourages consistent appearance and accurate content.

Technically Flexible

ProDoc operates across a wide range of environments, from the Internet, to a large interconnected network, to a stand-alone laptop. It supports an integration strategy based on open standards and can easily communicate with government-wide (IAE), financial, requisitioning, payment or inventory systems. Any type of data for a document
can be easily collected and stored. Outputs include HTML, Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat (PDF) formats.

Integrated Acquisition Environment Support

DSI is an industry leader in support for the IAE. ProDoc retrieves vendor data directly from the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The system collects, retains, and validates FPDS-NG data. Users can generate solicitations and solicitation notices and post them to FedBizOpps.gov. As these and other IAE systems evolve, DSI
will continue to set the standard for IAE integration.
