The Automated Acquisition Management System (AAMS) is a family of automated acquisition tools which provides integrated electronic policy recommendation and acquisition data collection; enabling a contracting, program and finance offices to conform to federal law and agency policy guidelines when undertaking any acquisition.

Federal acquisition laws, court decisions which interpret and clarify these laws, congressional reporting mandates and local agency policy requirements insure a changing contracting environment.
