RegSearch is the AAMS component which offers in-depth content-based search of key regulatory and legal documents necessary to support acquisition policy decision-making. Supporting over 40 regulatory references in the core document set, RegSearch is readily customizable to include other local policy guidance. Comprehensive

RegSearch is a complete repository of federal procurement and grants information including the complete FAR/DFARS, Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) statements, OMB circulars, relevant legislation - anything necessary to support acquisition staff researching an unfamiliar or complex subject. Agency supplements, local policy guidance and directives, as well as any other electronically available documents can be added to RegSearch and automatically cross-indexed.

Current

RegSearch updates are routinely provided for applicable regulations, including government-wide policy, regulations (FAR, DFARS etc.), agency supplements and local documents. A key component of RegSearch is the Federal Register document, which contains all FACs released for the FAR allowing users to compare current and past regulatory text.

Searchable

RegSearch specializes in document content searching and the cross-indexing of citations between documents as appropriate. Search by any string of text, keywords, citation numbers, or section numbers, and rapidly retrieve references across thousands of pages of regulations and documents. Search results may be browsed within the full-text context of a document, or may be directly accessed from a concise search index.

Cross-Referenced

RegSearch indexes all meaningful words across all documents. Citations and unique document section numbers are hyperlinked within all documents. The on-demand display of linked citation/section text is provided in a separate window, allowing the user to easily switch between the referenced text and the document being viewed.

Convenient Access

RegSearch is available to subscribers over the Internet from any location with Web connectivity, or it may be hosted locally by an agency. RegSearch is directly accessible from our other products, ProTrac and ProDoc, allowing for quick reference during document creation or acquisition process tracking.
