Subscription Offerings

In addressing the needs of the acquisition professional, DSI realized that traditional software development methodologies and sales concepts fall short in delivering real and immediate value to the contracting, program and finance offices. Waterfall-based methods that rely on rigid and time-consuming processes simply cannot keep pace with the scope and variety of political and regulatory change evident in the acquisition profession.

To address these issues, DSI adopted a philosophy of subscription-based updates and services. DSI's subscriptions ensure our software tools are current with the latest regulations, technological advances, product features, and key e-Government (e-Gov) initiatives such as the Integrated Acquisition Environment.

Regulatory Subscription

DSI's ProDoc ensures that our client’s are compliant with the current federal acquisition statutes, regulations and policies (e.g. FARA/FASA, SARA and FAR). Our knowledgeable staff of NCMA-certified experts provide an interpretation of the current federal acquisition statutes, regulations and policies; which is implemented in the DSI ProDoc Knowledgebase.

Clients can optionally purchase a ProDoc Regulatory Subscription, providing proactive content management of the clauses, data, policy interpretation, and process guidance. There are four ProDoc Regulatory Subscription support levels to provide our clients with a choice of content management support that is appropriate to their legal and policy requirements.

Software Subscription

In addition to product software maintenance, DSI's clients can optionally purchase a product Software Subscription. A Software Subscription provides additional product support and proactive software change management, making in-version product upgrades available to clients for installation. There are three Software Subscription support levels to provide clients with a choice of product change management support that is appropriate for their requirements.

Server Platform Subscription

The operation of DSI’s product line is dependent on an appropriate hardware and software platform. The client is responsible for providing and managing this platform.  However, for designated server software products, clients must additionally purchase a Server Platform Subscription.  This subscription offering provides clients with assistance in the acquisition, installation, license management, and on-going management support of these server software products.
